Welcome to the Bristol and District branch of Parkinson's UK
A PhD researcher at the University of Manchester has developed a new resource to help explain what’ Motor Imagery’ is for people with Parkinson’s.
‘Motor Imagery’ describes imagining making a movement before carrying it out, such as imagining stepping forward before taking a step. This practice has been shown to improve movement in people with Parkinson’s.
The researcher is really interested in your feedback on the resource.
